Written by Australian Padel Shop ·  Published  ·  Updated  ·  Prices and stock shown are live

NOX's 2027 collection is 17 rackets in three series: ten Luxury frames led by Agustín Tapia's Genius line and the Ventus team rackets, five Pro Cups in the Classic series, and two Equation rackets for improvers. The headline change is VCS, a new anti-vibration layer inside the handle of every Luxury racket. Alongside it come redesigned Genius and Ventus moulds and a first signature racket for Aimar Goñi. Every 2027 NOX is on pre-order with us now, with RRPs from $200 to $550, and we expect to send the first ones in early November. This guide covers when the range lands, what changed from 2026, what each line is for and which racket suits which player, with live prices on the cards below.

The first ten are the Luxury series, the five Pro Cups are the Classic series and the two Equations are the Advanced series. All 17 have a 38mm profile and a carbon frame. "NOX feel" is NOX's own hardness rating, and manufacturer weights vary by around ±10g in practice. Everything is due in early November except the two AT10 Pro Cups, which follow in December.

What's new for 2027

  • VCS on every Luxury racket. VCS stands for Vibration Control System: an elastomer layer bonded to the whole inside of the handle. NOX claim it cuts the impact reaching your wrist by up to 56% compared with the previous generation; some retailers quote 60%. It comes on all ten Luxury rackets. The Pro Cups and Equations keep their existing anti-vibration systems.
  • New Genius and Ventus moulds. NOX describe the Genius as more aerodynamic and better balanced, with a redesigned EOS Tunnel (the openings in the frame), and say the Ventus Hybrid has been reworked for control and stability. The European retailer PadelShop.com measured a 2026 and a 2027 frame of both Genius teardrops. The 2027s were noticeably lower in swingweight, so they are quicker through the air. That held even on the 18K, where the materials are unchanged. Our NOX AT10 2027 guide has the numbers.
  • Weight Balance across the Luxury series. These are 2g and 4g weights, up to 8g in total, that you fix towards the head for more power and stability or towards the handle for a quicker racket. Last year the system was a Genius feature. This year every Ventus racket gets it too.
  • Three core changes. The Genius 12K Alum Xtrem and Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem move from 2026's HR3 Black EVA to NOX's multilayered MLD Black EVA. PadelShop measured the 2027 Genius 12K as slightly softer than the 2026. Lamperti's Ventus Control 3K goes the other way. It swaps 2026's low-density HR3 Color EVA for a high-density HR3 Black EVA, which makes it a firmer racket than last year's.
  • Lighter Lites. The Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite and the Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite now both weigh 350–360g, about 5g less than the 2026 versions.
  • Classic and Advanced updates. The Tapia Pro Cups carry NOX's Exclusive Spin texture and keep the Pulse System anti-vibration. Lamperti's Pro Cups are unchanged under a retro finish. The Equation moves to 3K fibreglass faces with a 3D Texture surface.
  • Names. Aimar Goñi gets his first signature racket, taking over the attacking Ventus from Edu Alonso. Alonso's name stays on the Ventus Hybrid. NOX have also dropped the AT10 and EA10 prefixes from their own 2027 model names, so the Genius rackets are listed simply as "Genius … by Agustín Tapia". The Australian distributor and most shops, us included, still use the familiar AT10 names.

Pablo, the equipment tester at the4Set, played seven of the Luxury rackets before they reached shops and called the range "an evolution, not a revolution". He said that with the graphics covered he would struggle to tell the 2026 and 2027 Tapia rackets apart. That matters if you already own a 2026 NOX in good condition, because there is no pressing reason to replace it. It also makes the 2026 runout stock at the end of this guide worth a look.

The Genius is the line built around Tapia. There are five rackets on two head shapes. All but the Lite share the MLD Black EVA core and the 360–375g weight band, so the carbon face and the head shape make the difference.

  • Genius 18K Alum (RRP $550) is the all-court flagship: a teardrop with an 18K aluminised carbon face, which NOX describe as solid and comfortable. Padelful's review of the 2026 version, which has the same core, face and weight, scored it 9.6 for manoeuvrability and 9.0 for sweet spot. The power comes from your swing rather than the racket.
  • Genius 12K Alum Xtrem (RRP $550) is the racket Tapia actually plays. It has the same teardrop and core with a stiffer, drier 12K Alum Xtrem face. In the4Set's early test it had the longest average smash of the seven rackets and ranked first for volleys.
  • Genius Attack 18K Alum and Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem (RRP $550 each) are the diamond versions. Both have a high balance and NOX's Oversize Grip, a handle 30mm longer for leverage on the overhead. NOX rate the 18K version medium and the 12K medium-hard. They are for left-side players who finish points from the net.
  • Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite (RRP $500) keeps Tapia's teardrop and 12K face at 350–360g, built around a soft HR3 White EVA core. It is the most comfortable, quickest-handling Genius, and the one to try if your elbow complains.

Choosing between the five is a guide in itself. Our NOX AT10 2027 guide compares them head to head, covers what changed from the 2026 models and looks at whether the 2026 runout is the better buy.

Ventus is where the rest of the NOX team plays. Each racket has a clear job, and two of them are the cheapest way into the Luxury series.

  • EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem, Edu Alonso (RRP $500). A teardrop all-rounder on the MLD core with a 12K Xtrem face. In the4Set's test it was the best of the seven in defence, where the ball goes exactly where your arm sends it, and second for volleys. There is little free power, so it suits a player who brings their own pace.
  • Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem, Aimar Goñi (RRP $500). This is the first signature racket for Goñi, a left-sider who joined NOX in March 2026 and partners Alonso on tour. It has a diamond head, high balance and the 30mm Oversize Grip. the4Set ranked it first for the bandeja and víbora. Like any head-heavy diamond, it is less forgiving low and late.
  • ML10 Ventus Control 3K, Miguel Lamperti (RRP $500). A round control racket with a 3K carbon face, now on the firmer high-density HR3 Black EVA. Padelful's 2027 review scored it 9.2 for control, but power, ball exit and spin were only moderate. If you loved the soft 2026 version, hit with this one before you commit. Lamperti played his last Premier Padel event in May 2026 and now fronts NOX's campaign.
  • Ventus Control 12K, Aránzazu Osoro (RRP $450). A round head on the MLD core with a 12K face. Padelful scored it 9.1 for control and 9.1 for manoeuvrability, but only 7.0 for power. It is a patient, positional racket that forgives, and nothing about the spec is gendered.
  • Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite (RRP $450). A 350–360g teardrop with the same firm MLD core and 12K face as its heavier siblings. Padelful rated it the quickest Ventus at the net. Despite the name it is not a soft racket, and NOX rate it medium-hard.

Two families share the Pro Cup name, and the head shape tells them apart: Tapia's are teardrops and Lamperti's are round. All five have aluminised fibreglass faces, which flex more and forgive more than carbon. Carbon vs fibreglass explains the difference.

  • AT10 Pro Cup Hard and AT10 Pro Cup Soft (RRP $310 each, due December). These are the same teardrop with an HR3 Hard or HR3 Soft EVA core, the Exclusive Spin texture and the Pulse System anti-vibration. Padelful's reviews of the 2026 versions describe the Hard as precise and firm. It scored 9.1 for control, but it punishes off-centre hits. The Soft scored 9.1 for rebound: the ball comes out of defence with little effort, and it is kind on the arm.
  • ML10 Pro Cup Coorp, Silver and Rough (RRP $240 each). Lamperti's original round mould, with an HR3 EVA core, a big central sweet spot and the Smartstrap wrist cord. The Coorp is the classic version with smooth faces, the Silver is the lighter version at 350–365g, and the Rough has textured faces for slice and spin. Padel.FYI rates the Pro Cup among the easiest rackets for learning the game. NOX rate all three soft, but one European retailer's lab measured the Pro Cup at the firmer end of its scale, so treat it as medium if your elbow is sensitive.

The Equation Soft and Equation Hard are NOX's improver rackets, at an RRP of $200. Both have a round head, medium balance and a 355–365g weight band. For 2027 they get 3K fibreglass faces, replacing the previous three-layer fibreglass, along with a 3D Texture surface and a carbon frame with NOX's Dynamic Composite Structure. The anti-vibration system and Smartstrap carry over. Choose the Soft if you are newer to padel, play social doubles or have any elbow history. Choose the Hard if you already hit with pace and want the ball off the face quicker. When in doubt, choose the Soft. Our beginner racket guide sets them against the alternatives from other brands.

Which NOX 2027 racket should you buy?

  • First racket, or under a year of padel: Equation Soft, or the ML10 Pro Cup Coorp if you want a classic round control frame.
  • Improving and playing every week: Equation Hard, the ML10 Pro Cup Silver or Rough, or the AT10 Pro Cup Soft if you want a teardrop.
  • Intermediate moving up to carbon: Ventus Control 12K for control, Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite for speed, or Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite for comfort.
  • Advanced all-court player: Genius 18K Alum for comfort, Genius 12K Alum Xtrem for bite, or EA10 Ventus Hybrid for defence and touch.
  • Advanced attacker on the left: Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem (the firmer of the two Genius diamonds), Genius Attack 18K Alum, or Goñi's Ventus Attack.
  • Control player: ML10 Ventus Control 3K if you want firm and precise, or Ventus Control 12K if you want forgiving.
  • Elbow or shoulder trouble: Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite, AT10 Pro Cup Soft or Equation Soft. Padel and tennis elbow sets out what gear can and cannot do.

Still unsure? The racket finder scores every racket we stock against your level, style and budget, and compare puts any two side by side. Round vs teardrop vs diamond explains what the head shape does.

The 2026 versions of three of the rackets above are still in stock. The 2026 Genius 18K Alum and EA10 Ventus Hybrid have the same core, face, shape and weight as the 2027 rackets. What you give up is VCS and the reworked mould. The 2026 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem keeps the firmer HR3 Black EVA core that the 2027 drops, which is a point in its favour if you like a firm, head-heavy racket. If you want to play this week, these are the NOX rackets to look at. The full range, 2026 and 2027, is on our NOX collection page.

Frequently asked questions

When are the NOX 2027 rackets released?

NOX unveiled the range in September 2026, with the first European deliveries due from 19 October. In Australia, we expect to send our first pre-orders in early November, with the AT10 Pro Cup Hard and Soft following in December.

How much are the NOX 2027 rackets in Australia?

The RRPs are $200 for the Equation Hard and Soft, $240 for the ML10 Pro Cups and $310 for the AT10 Pro Cups. In the Luxury series, the Ventus Control 12K and Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite are $450, the Ventus Hybrid, Ventus Attack, Ventus Control 3K and Genius Lite are $500, and the four main Genius rackets are $550.

What is the difference between the NOX 2026 and 2027 rackets?

The biggest change is the VCS anti-vibration layer in the handle of every Luxury racket. The Genius and Ventus moulds are also reworked, Weight Balance now covers the whole Luxury series, and the Genius 12K, Genius Attack 12K and Ventus Control 3K have new cores. Both Lite rackets are about 5g lighter. Most faces, shapes and weights carry over, and early testers describe the range as an evolution of 2026 rather than a new start.

Which NOX racket does Agustín Tapia use?

The Genius 12K Alum Xtrem. He switched to it from the 18K during 2026 and plays the 2027 version this season. As with every sponsored professional, the frame he competes with may differ from the retail model. What rackets do the pros use covers the rest of the tour.

What is NOX VCS?

VCS is NOX's Vibration Control System, new for 2027. It is an elastomer bonded to the inside of the handle, and NOX claim it reduces the impact reaching the wrist by up to 56% compared with the previous generation. It is fitted to all ten Luxury rackets, but not to the Pro Cups or Equations.

Are NOX rackets good for beginners?

The Equation Soft and the ML10 Pro Cup Coorp are, and both are among the most forgiving rackets NOX make. The Genius and Ventus rackets are built for advanced players. The Lite versions are the gentlest of them, but they are still not where we would start a new player.

What happened to the NOX AT10 name?

NOX's own 2027 product names drop the AT10 prefix, calling them "Genius 18K Alum by Agustín Tapia" and so on, and the same goes for EA10 on the Ventus Hybrid. It is the same Tapia line, and the Australian distributor and most shops still sell it as the AT10.

Do NOX 2027 rackets come with weights?

The ten Luxury rackets come with NOX's Weight Balance system: 2g and 4g weights, up to 8g in total, to shift the balance towards the head or the handle. The Pro Cups and Equations do not have it.

Specifications are from NOX's 2027 product pages and the catalogue supplied by the Australian distributor, checked 10 October 2026. Findings are quoted from Padelful, the4Set (reported by Tennis Tonic), PadelShop.com and Padel.FYI. They are those reviewers' opinions and measurements, and most published reviews so far are of the 2026 versions. We have not court-tested the 2027 rackets ourselves. Prices on the cards are live.
