Jason plays out of Padel Gold Coast at KDV Sport in Carrara. He also runs Priceline Pharmacy at Pacific Fair — which is why this store has something most online retailers don’t: a real counter you can collect from, and walk back into if something isn’t right.
Why we exist
Padel is the fastest-growing racquet sport in the country and most people coming into it are buying their first racket with no idea what any of the specifications mean. The information available is either manufacturer marketing or a wall of product listings with no guidance attached.
So we built the site around the decision rather than the catalogue. A racket finder that scores real stock against your answers and shows you why. A comparison table that hides the specs where two rackets are identical and highlights the ones where they differ. Guides that tell you when not to buy the expensive thing.
How we choose what to stock
We range five brands — Babolat, Dunlop, NOX, Siux and Tecnifibre — and roughly three to nine rackets from each. That is deliberate. We would rather carry the frames that are genuinely selling and genuinely good than list four hundred and let you work it out.
Each racket is chosen to fill a specific gap in level, shape, play style and price. Where we’ve held something back, it’s usually because another frame already covers that slot better.
How we price
We regularly monitor the everyday prices of established Australian padel retailers and use that information to help set our own. Our aim is to offer some of Australia’s best everyday padel prices — not just short-term promotional discounts. The full explanation is here.
What we won’t do
- Invent reviews, ratings or sales figures.
- Run countdown timers or low-stock warnings that aren’t calculated from genuine operational data.
- Use another retailer’s product photography, or AI-generated images pretending to be a real product.
- Claim we’ve tested a racket when we’ve read its specification. When we start testing frames ourselves, we’ll label it clearly as testing.
Where to play on the Gold Coast
If you’re new to padel here, these are the courts you can actually book today:
- Padel Gold Coast at KDV Sport — 221 Nerang Broadbeach Rd, Carrara QLD 4211. Six floodlit outdoor courts, open 6am–10pm daily, with coaching and social sessions. This is Jason’s home club.
- Gold Coast Racquet Club — Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina QLD 4226. Seven outdoor padel courts alongside pickleball, open 5am–11pm. Soft-opened in August 2026, with the full programme from 1 September.
More is on the way. Padhaus is building an indoor club at Molendinar, PadlX has announced Burleigh Heads and an indoor site at Arundel, Icon Padel has a Coomera venue in planning, and padel forms part of the Parkwood Village redevelopment. Indoor padel on the Coast is a 2026–27 story rather than something you can book this week — but it is coming, and quickly.
