Great range and prices. Struggled to find somewhere that was a one stop shop. Glad I stumbled across this store and having a local click and collect is a great bonus.

Who this racket suits
The racket Agustín Tapia actually plays. Tapia switched from the 18K to the 12K Alum Xtrem during 2026 and uses the 2027 version this season. It is the firmer, sharper of the two teardrop Genius frames, and the 2026 version was the second-best-selling racket of the year to August at Spanish retailer PadelPROShop.
How it plays. Crisp and powerful for a teardrop. Padelful's review of the 2026 version called it the sharpest, firmest AT10, scoring it 9.0 for power and 9.0 for sweet spot with 9.4 for manoeuvrability; Padel Nuestro found it precise, dry and direct with a generous sweet spot. The flip side came from owners: a handful found the 2026 too stiff, or felt vibration in the arm. That is exactly what NOX targeted for 2027 — see below — but no independent review has yet confirmed how much softer it feels.
What's new for 2027. The core changes from 2026's HR3 Black EVA to NOX's multilayered MLD Black EVA, and it gains the VCS anti-vibration layer bonded inside the handle (NOX claim up to 56% less impact reaching the wrist than the previous generation). The 12K Alum Xtrem face is carried over — NOX claim the rectangular weave has 50% less fibre waviness for a more direct response. The mould profiles are refined, the EOS Tunnel is redesigned, and Weight Balance lets you add up to 8g in 2g and 4g weights. NOX rate the feel medium-hard.
Where it sits. The 2026 AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem is in stock now, with the same face on the 2026 HR3 core. The Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem is the diamond version with a 30mm longer handle, and Edu Alonso's Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem is the all-court teardrop from the Ventus line. From another brand, compare the Babolat Air Viper 2.6.
Is this the racket for you?
- Yes if you are an advanced player who wants Tapia's own racket: power and precision from a teardrop that still defends.
- No if your elbow has ever complained: try the Genius 18K Alum or the soft Genius 12K Xtrem Lite first.
