Great range and prices. Struggled to find somewhere that was a one stop shop. Glad I stumbled across this store and having a local click and collect is a great bonus.

Who this racket suits
The soft-core Equation, and the racket we would hand most newer players who are ready to buy their own. Round head, medium balance, 355–365g, and a core NOX rate as "intermediate, very comfortable".
How it plays. Easy. The HR3 Soft EVA core gives on every ball, so you get length without forcing it, and the round head keeps the sweet spot in the middle where a developing player actually makes contact. Padelful's review of the 2026 version scored it 9.1 for manoeuvrability and called out very easy ball exit and good defence. The same review is honest about the limits: smash power is weak and the sweet spot is "not huge" — this is a racket for building a game, not finishing points from the back wall.
What's new for 2027. NOX moved the Equation to 3K fibreglass faces (previously three-layer fibreglass), swapped the surface to their 3D Texture for a little more bite on slices, and built the carbon frame with their Dynamic Composite Structure for stability. Anti-vibration in the handle and the Smartstrap wrist cord carry over.
Where it sits. Lamperti's ML10 Pro Cup Coorp is the next step for a control player, and Tapia's Pro Cup Soft puts a soft core in a teardrop. In stock now, compare the round Babolat Counter Origin and adidas Drive, and the Dunlop FX Start.
Is this the racket for you?
- Yes if you are new to padel, play social doubles or have any history of elbow trouble. When in doubt, take the Soft.
- No if you already hit with pace and want the ball to come off the face quicker: the Equation Hard is the same shape and build with the hard core.
Specifications from NOX's 2027 product page and the catalogue supplied by the Australian distributor, checked 9 Oct 2026. Manufacturer weights vary by around ±5–10g.
