A padel ball is not a tennis ball. It is fractionally smaller and noticeably lower in pressure, so it sits up off the glass instead of skidding away — which is the whole reason the wall game works. A tennis ball on a padel court plays fast, bounces long and teaches you the wrong habits.
How long do they last? Pressure starts dropping the moment you crack the seal, whether you play with them or not. A serious pair will notice a can going dead after two or three sessions; most club players get a month of weekly hits before the bounce is obviously flat. Buy what you will get through in a few weeks rather than stockpiling — an unopened can keeps, an open one does not. Store them out of the car: heat kills pressure faster than play does.
