NOX EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2026 Padel Racket (Edu Alonso)

The NOX EA10 Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem 2026 is Edu Alonso's signature teardrop. NOX signed Alonso in February 2025. The racket weighs 360–375g, with NOX's multilayered MLD Black EVA core, a 12K Xtrem carbon face (a flatter, more uniform weave) and a carbon frame. NOX describe a quick, versatile teardrop with balanced weight for fast, dynamic play, rate its touch intermediate-hard and call its style multipurpose.

How it plays. Padelful rates it 8.5/10 (May 2026): manoeuvrability 9.5, sweet spot 9.2, power and control 8.4, rebound 6.9. Its write-up praises speed at the net, a large sweet spot on mishits and clean control on the bandeja and víbora, and lists modest ball exit from defence, no free power on the smash and a need for clean contact. padel.how scores it 75/100 (September 2026): control 8.5 and stability 8 lead and power on demand is 7. It calls the EA10 firmer and less comfortable than the AT10 18K, and not a racket for left-side finishers.

The Ventus line. The EA10 belongs to NOX's 2026 Ventus line: five models on the same new mould with the Dual Spin face texture (3D relief with a sandblasted finish). This one has the Pulse System side rubbers, the EOS Tunnel through the throat and the Dynamic Composite Structure, which runs frame material about 4cm into the face to protect it on off-centre hits. It does not have the AT10 rackets' Weight Balance counterweights. NOX publish no balance figure; padel.how lists 255–258mm. Some retailers give this racket the AT10's 12K Alum Xtrem face and HR3 core, but NOX's page says 12K Xtrem and MLD Black EVA.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced all-court player who switches between attack and defence, you want a quick teardrop with a big sweet spot, and you make your own power.
• No if you want the racket to finish points for you (the 12K or the Attack 12K), or if your elbow or wrist is sensitive: the 18K is the kinder NOX teardrop.
