NOX Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem 2027 Padel Racket (Aimar Goñi)

Aimar Goñi's first signature racket. Goñi, a 1.90m left-side finisher who joined NOX in March 2026, plays it with a diamond head, high balance and NOX's Oversize Grip, which adds 30mm to the handle for extra leverage on overheads.

How it plays. Built to end points. Testing the full 2027 NOX range, the4Set ranked it the best in the collection for the bandeja and víbora, with a clear response on high contact, and second for smash distance. The diamond shape and head-heavy balance put the sweet spot high and compact, so it hits hardest when you meet the ball above your head — and it is less forgiving low and late, in defence, or on off-centre blocks. One European retailer's lab test advises against it for sensitive elbows.

What's new for 2027. This takes over from the 2026 EA10 Ventus Attack — the same diamond, high-balance format on an MLD Black EVA core with a 12K Xtrem carbon face. New this year: Goñi's name on it, the stated 30mm Oversize Grip, NOX's VCS anti-vibration layer bonded inside the handle (NOX claim up to 56% less impact reaching the wrist than the previous generation) and Weight Balance — 2g and 4g weights to add up to 8g. NOX rate the feel medium-hard.

Where it sits. In the Genius range, the Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem and the Genius Attack 18K Alum are the other 2027 diamonds with the 30mm Oversize Grip. In stock now, the 2026 AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem and the Tecnifibre Bomba Max are attacking diamonds.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced attacking player, usually on the left, with the technique and shoulder to swing a head-heavy frame.
• No if you need a frame that defends too: Edu Alonso's Ventus Hybrid 12K Xtrem, played by Goñi's partner, is the teardrop sibling.
