Where to buy padel gear on the Gold Coast — the honest map
Padel on the Coast has grown faster than the retail around it, so here is what actually exists as at September 2026:
- Australian Padel Shop (Broadbeach) — online specialist with the full range on this site, free click & collect at Pacific Fair ready in three hours on weekday orders, in-person returns at the same counter. No showroom, no demo rackets.
- Racquet Club Robina — the Coast's newest venue (opened 1 September 2026, seven open-air courts) with an on-site pro shop. Good place to see a racket in the hand; ring ahead to ask what is on the wall.
- Padel Gold Coast at KDV Sport, Carrara and the other clubs — balls at the desk, and most coaches will let you hit with their frames. That is the right way to try before you buy.
- Interstate online retailers — the larger national padel stores dispatch from Sydney (padelracket.com.au from its Alexandria warehouse; padelcode.com.au is also Sydney-based) and deliver to the Gold Coast by post, typically in two to four business days. Neither lists a Gold Coast collection point.
The practical difference: order from us on a Tuesday morning and you are hitting with it on Tuesday night. Order interstate and it is Thursday or Friday, and if it is wrong, it goes back in the post.

How Gold Coast click & collect works
- Add to cart and choose Click & collect at checkout — it is free, no minimum.
- Weekday order between 9am and 5pm, item in stock: ready within three hours. Outside that window we still move fast, we just do not promise the number.
- Wait for the "ready" email, then collect from the Priceline Pharmacy counter inside Pacific Fair, Broadbeach, during trading hours (seven days; late night Thursday). Bring the email and photo ID.

What we stock, and what we deliberately do not
Seven racket brands — adidas, Babolat, Dunlop, NOX, Siux, Tecnifibre and Hirostar — plus FIP-approved padel balls from Dunlop, NOX, Siux and Babolat, Hesacore grips, overgrips, protectors and bags. We do not range Head or Wilson; the Gold Coast clubs generally do, so if that is what you want, hit with one at your club. We hold no demo rackets and have no showroom — we would rather say so than pretend.
