Every padel court in Australia

Forty-five venues open around the country and more than twenty under construction, listed state by state with what we could and could not verify. No affiliate links, no booking commission — we sell rackets, not court time.

Australian Padel Shop · Checked 15 September 2026 · Running a club we have wrong or missed? Tell us and we will fix it the same day

Australia went from a handful of courts to about forty-five venues in a few years, and the lists that exist have not kept up. The national body's court finder is incomplete, the booking apps only show clubs on their own platform, and the directories copy each other — two of them still list a Melbourne pop-up that closed in April. So we built our own from each venue's own website and booking page, and we re-check it.

Where we could not confirm something — and there are a few — we say so rather than guessing. If you are about to drive an hour, ring first.

How we count. "Open" means the venue's own site or booking platform was taking bookings on 15 September 2026. Court numbers are the venue's own figures where published. Anything at proposal, DA or waitlist stage is listed as announced, not as a court you can play on.

The deepest market in the country, and home to Australia's largest club.

Worth knowing. Indoor Padel Australia at Alexandria is the biggest club in the country at ten courts. Tribe at North Ryde is the old Padel Sydney site under a new name — count it once. The Town Padel is the only venue between the Central Coast and the Gold Coast, and La Palma is the only one on the Central Coast. Padel Point is also an online padel retailer, so treat its buying advice accordingly.

Coming: Bounce Padel Club at Botany (six indoor courts) has a live booking page while its own site still says coming soon — soft-launching, confirm before travelling. Padel Athletic at Matraville says late 2026. Tribe has seven indoor courts at Gateshead, Newcastle at development-application stage, plus Byron Bay announced. Place of Padel at Wetherill Park, The Rally Club at Prospect and Padel District at South Granville are listed as coming by a single source with no dates.

Worth knowing. Both of Australia's international tournaments in 2026 were played in Melbourne — the FIP Bronze Melbourne Padel Open at iPadel in January, and the FIP Silver Australian Padel Open at Game4Padel Docklands the following week. iPadel also runs its own retail range, so it is a competitor as well as a club. Crown Racquet Club at Southbank was a pop-up that ran from January to April 2026 and is closed; several directories still list it.

Coming: St Andrews Beach Padel Club, the Mornington Peninsula's first courts, is opening mid-spring 2026. Geelong has nothing open or announced.

Another eight courts at Molendinar, eight at Parkwood and seven at Coomera are announced. Far North Queensland has nothing open — Padelo has a Cairns club announced with no site named, and there is no venue in Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton or Toowoomba.

Western Australia

Australia's oldest padel state — Perth had courts in 2020, before anywhere else — and the only state running a genuine inter-club league.

Worth knowing. Padel Perth at Reabold Tennis Club opened in February 2020 and calls itself the longest-running padel venue in the country — a title Padel Gold Coast at Carrara also claims, having marked its tenth anniversary in August 2026. Padel West at Melville runs the State League, the only inter-club competition of its kind in Australia. Every WA court is outdoor — there is not one indoor padel court in the state — which is a different proposition to Melbourne or the Sunshine Coast.

South Australia

VenueWhereCourts
Padel FitThebarton4 indoor

Padel Fit is the only operating padel club in South Australia. Tribe is building four indoor courts on Prospect Road with a founding-member waitlist open and no date, and STRYKR at Port Noarlunga has two courts listed as coming soon with plans for four.

Australian Capital Territory

VenueWhereCourts
Canberra Racquet ClubFyshwick6 indoor

The only padel venue in the ACT, at 18 Nyrang St, open 6am to 10pm daily across a 4,000 square metre site. Same operator as Sydney Racquet Club and the new Robina club on the Gold Coast.

Tasmania

VenueWhereCourts
The Racquet CollectiveKings Meadows, Launceston2 indoor

Tasmania's only padel venue, open since April 2026. There are no courts in Hobart, though the Launceston owners have said publicly that they see it as the obvious next step.

Northern Territory

No padel courts. We searched every directory, booking platform and council record we could find and there is nothing open or announced in Darwin, Alice Springs or anywhere else in the Territory. If you are building one, we would genuinely like to hear about it.

Getting coached at one of these clubs? Ask your coach for a discount code. Most of the coaches we work with have one: you get 5% off anything you buy with it, and your coach is paid 5% of what you spend — so the person who taught you actually gets something back when you take their advice on a racket. If your coach hasn't been issued a code yet, ask them to email hello@australianpadelshop.com and we will set one up. It takes five minutes, costs them nothing, and there is no stock to hold. Full details on the coaches and community page.

Which brands to buy where

Every club pro shop buys through its own wholesale account, which means it goes deep on one or two brands rather than wide across the market. Which brands depends entirely on the club — around Australia you will find adidas, Bullpadel, Head, Wilson and StarVie clubs, and plenty that do not publish what they carry at all.

If the brand you want is the one on your club's wall, buy it there. You get to pick the racket up and hit with it before you pay, and no website can compete with that.

We range the five that most club shops don't: Babolat, NOX, Siux, Tecnifibre and Dunlop — with the manufacturer's full specification published on every frame, so you can compare shape, weight, balance, core and face material properly instead of guessing.

Between a club pro shop and this site a player can get to more or less any racket made. Start wherever the brand you want lives.

Getting gear anywhere in Australia

We are an online shop run out of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. Free shipping over $99 Australia-wide and $9.95 flat below that, with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 1pm AEST on a business day. Every racket we sell carries the manufacturer's full published specification — shape, weight, balance, core, face material — so you can compare properly instead of guessing from a photo.

Three that suit most players starting out. Prices are live from our shelf.
