NOX ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2027 Padel Racket (Miguel Lamperti)

Miguel Lamperti's signature control racket — and for 2027, a noticeably different one. The round head and 3K carbon face carry over, but NOX have replaced last year's low-density core with a high-density HR3 Black EVA, so this version is firmer and gives more back on the ball. Lamperti played his final Premier Padel event in May 2026 and fronts NOX's 2027 campaign.

How it plays. Precise and stable, with more pop than the 2026. Padelful's 2027 review scored it 9.2 for control and 8.9 for sweet spot, and found it quick at the net with accurate bandejas and víboras. Their reservations: moderate ball exit, limited easy smash power and limited spin. NOX now rate the feel medium-hard (the 2026 was rated intermediate), and one European retailer's lab test put it as the firmest-feeling frame in the 2027 Ventus line.

What's new for 2027. The core is the big change: HR3 Black EVA, which NOX describe as high density with "maximum memory effect" for power, replacing 2026's softer, low-density HR3 Color EVA. It also gains NOX's VCS anti-vibration layer bonded inside the handle (NOX claim up to 56% less impact reaching the wrist than the previous generation) and Weight Balance — 2g and 4g weights that add up to 8g, new to the Ventus range this year.

Where it sits. Aránzazu Osoro's Ventus Control 12K is the other round control racket in the Ventus line, and the ML10 Pro Cup Coorp is Lamperti's classic fibreglass mould. Round control rackets in stock now: the softer-cored Hirostar Solar, the adidas Metalbone CTRL and the Babolat Counter Viper 2.6.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you build points patiently and found the 2026 ML10 a little dead on the smash: this is the fix.
• No if you loved the 2026 ML10 Ventus for its soft, cushioned feel: this one is firmer, so try it before you commit, or take the Hirostar Solar.

Specifications from NOX's 2027 product page and the catalogue supplied by the Australian distributor, checked 9 Oct 2026. Manufacturer weights vary by around ±5–10g. Photos supplied by NOX. NOX's spec table lists the shape as teardrop, but NOX's own description and product photos show a round head, so we list round. Ratings are quoted from the sites named; we have not court-tested this frame ourselves. Sources: NOX 2027 · NOX 2026 · Padelful (2027 review) · FIP.
