The Town Padel — Coffs Harbour
61 West High Street, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450. Four glass-walled artificial-grass courts — outdoor, with shaded seating — open 7am to 9pm daily. Coffs Harbour's first and only dedicated padel club, and the only one on the New South Wales North Coast.
- Booking is pay-as-you-play through book.thetownpadel.com or the club's own app (Android live, iOS listed as coming). No membership required. Published court rates run from around $10 to $13 an hour per player depending on peak and off-peak.
- Racket hire is included with a court booking as an introductory offer, with balls sold separately — which makes it one of the cheapest places in Australia to find out whether you like the sport.
- Coaching and group sessions for all levels, plus coach-led social sessions where players rotate, so you do not need to bring a four.
- Cafe, bar, showers, on-site parking, WiFi and a kids' play zone. It is built as a family venue rather than a pure sports club, and the tourism boards list it as an attraction.

The club's own site describes the courts as indoor; four independent listings describe them as outdoor with shade. We have gone with outdoor. If it matters to you on a wet day, ring first.

If you are north of Ballina, the Gold Coast is your padel city, and it is about to get much bigger — four outdoor courts at Burleigh Heads in October and eight indoor at Arundel in November. The Gold Coast page has all of it.
Playing competitively from Coffs
The Town Padel's own events page had nothing listed when we checked. The nearest real tournament is padel at the Pan Pacific Masters Games, 13–15 November 2026 at KDV Sport in Carrara on the Gold Coast — men's, women's and mixed doubles in 35+, 45+ and 55+ brackets, open entry, no ranking required, entries closing 16 October 2026. Four hours up the highway and a weekend away; a lot of regional players treat it exactly that way.

Which brands to buy where
Every club pro shop buys through its own wholesale account, which means it goes deep on one or two brands rather than wide across the market. Which brands depends entirely on the club — around Australia you will find adidas, Bullpadel, Head, Wilson and StarVie clubs, and plenty that do not publish what they carry at all.
If the brand you want is the one on your club's wall, buy it there. You get to pick the racket up and hit with it before you pay, and no website can compete with that.
