NOX Equation Hard 2027 Padel Racket

NOX's improver racket in the firmer of its two cores. Round head, medium balance and 355–365g — the combination of manoeuvrability and control that suits a player who has the basics and now wants the ball to go where they aim it.

How it plays. The HR3 Hard EVA core gives a crisper, more direct response than the Soft, so a well-struck ball comes off the face with more pace and less cushioning. Padelful's review of the 2026 version found it stable in defence and good on the bandeja and víbora, and was frank about the trade-offs: it is "not a power racket", and it asks for clean contact — mishits feel it more than on the Soft. NOX rate the feel medium-hard.

What's new for 2027. The faces move to 3K fibreglass (previously three-layer fibreglass), the surface changes to NOX's 3D Texture for more grip on slices, and the carbon frame uses their Dynamic Composite Structure for stability. Anti-vibration in the handle and the Smartstrap wrist cord carry over.

• Yes if you have the basics, already generate your own pace, and want a firmer, more precise feel. NOX pitch it at players looking to progress with greater control.
• No if you are newer to the game or have any elbow history: the Equation Soft is the same shape and build with the soft core.
