Melbourne has fewer venues than Sydney but they sit closer together, and it is the only Australian city that has hosted international padel. Both FIP Tour events in 2026 were played here within a week of each other in January.

Not on the list: Crown Racquet Club at Southbank. It was a pop-up on the Crown Riverwalk from 12 January to 11 April 2026 and is closed; several directories still show it. If you turn up, there is nothing there.
Worth knowing about a few of them
Game4Padel has two sites — Docklands has seven courts under a sixteen-metre roof and hosted the Australian Padel Open; Richmond sits inside Victoria Gardens shopping centre and was relaunched in January 2026. The venue says six courts; its own booking page lists two, so we show both. Game4Padel also operates online retail.
Tribe at Cheltenham opened in July 2026 with seven outdoor Super Panoramic courts, a sports bar, sauna, ice bath and compression boots. Noo's Padel on Chapel Street also opened in July, six outdoor courts with trams at the door and coffee from 7am. Colosso runs Brighton and the Southland rooftop, and the Colosso Cup; its coaching is led by Pedro Izquierdo with Ines Mattaldi and Ignacio Ybañez Cuerda. iPadel Melbourne at Reservoir has four indoor courts on World Padel Tour turf and runs its own retail range, so it is a shop as well as a club. Nordic Padel at Tullamarine is the one venue in town that books through Matchi rather than Playtomic — worth knowing if you are hunting a court at short notice. South East Padel sits beside Noble Park Aquatic Centre and was the first club in Melbourne's south-east.
Opening soon
St Andrews Beach Padel Club at 99 Bass Meadows Boulevard is the Mornington Peninsula's first padel, outdoor courts opening mid-spring 2026 with coaching, ladders and leagues, booked through Playtomic. Geelong has nothing open or announced.
Melbourne is where the internationals happen
Australia hosted two FIP Tour events in 2026 and both were in Melbourne, in January:

The Australian Padel Open is the closest thing this country has to a national title — there is no Australian National Championships, which surprises most people. No further FIP event is scheduled in Australia for the rest of 2026; if you are in Melbourne next January, both are worth watching.

Which brands to buy where
Every club pro shop buys through its own wholesale account, which means it goes deep on one or two brands rather than wide across the market. Which brands depends entirely on the club — around Australia you will find adidas, Bullpadel, Head, Wilson and StarVie clubs, and plenty that do not publish what they carry at all.
If the brand you want is the one on your club's wall, buy it there. You get to pick the racket up and hit with it before you pay, and no website can compete with that.
