Tecnifibre Bomba Soft 2026 Padel Racket

The Tecnifibre Bomba Soft 2026 is a diamond for a player whose arm is the deciding factor. Tecnifibre's own line is more comfortable explosive power, and they call it the most balanced racket in the Bomba collection: the attacking shape and the X-Speed channels of the Bomba Max, on a single-piece soft foam core with a fibreglass face. The whole Bomba range is new for 2026 — it launched on 1 May — so there is no previous model to compare it to.

How it actually plays. No scored independent review had been published when we wrote this. Padel Magazine's hands-on found superior vibration absorption, a more forgiving sweet spot and a smooth impact feel, and rated it more manoeuvrable than the Max — their verdict was a racket for progressing players and for anyone playing back-to-back matches without arm fatigue, with players who want maximum stiffness sent to the Max instead. Read that as a manufacturer-aligned first impression rather than a measured review, and read our comfort claim the same way: the construction argues for it, nobody has yet measured it.

The construction. The core is a single piece of soft foam — not layered EVA — which compresses more on impact for a gentler feel and more forgiveness off-centre. Tecnifibre list the material as carbon/fibreglass and describe the face as fibreglass, which flexes more than carbon and widens the effective hitting area. Rough Skin 3D is a sandblasted paint for spin; X-Top reinforcement protects the frame where it meets the glass; and Tecnifibre say the Bomba sweet spot is 7cm² larger than the equivalent Curva. Tecnifibre list the weight as 355g and the balance as 265mm.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an intermediate or advanced attacker who plays three or more times a week, has felt an elbow or shoulder complain, and does not want to give up the diamond shape to fix it.
• No if you want the firmest, most explosive Bomba — that is the Bomba Max, with the Bomba Speed between the two. If comfort is your whole brief and you do not need a diamond, the round, soft-cored Hirostar Solar is the one to compare.
