Solar 2026 Padel Racket

The Hirostar Solar 2026 is the control racket in the Precision line and the only round frame Hirostar currently make for adults. Low balance, 12K carbon face, EVA Black Soft core and a 38mm profile — a frame built, in Hirostar's words, for players who build rallies with precision rather than end them with a smash.

How it actually plays. The recipe is the classic control one and Hirostar do not dress it up: the round head widens the effective hitting area, the low balance keeps the head quick through direction changes and blocks, the soft core cushions the impact so you can manage depth and direction without stiffening the stroke, and the 12K face adds enough rigidity to keep volleys and blocked returns predictable. Their Smart Holes drilling pattern and the integrated protector at the top of the frame carry over from the higher tiers. Padelspeed (UK) list it as the control specialist of the 2026 range. We have not found an independent scored test of the Solar; the description above is manufacturer and retailer copy, not a court test. Note the weight: 365–380g is at the heavier end for a round frame, which helps stability on the block but is worth knowing if you prefer a light racket.

What changed for 2026. New Hirostar mould with integrated upper-frame protection, 3D detailing on the face and a gold-on-carbon colourway. The 2025 Solar used the same 12K/soft-EVA recipe.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are a beginner-to-intermediate player, a right-side defender, or anyone whose elbow has complained about stiffer frames — this is the arm-friendly racket in the Hirostar range. • No if you want the racket to add power — the diamond Hirostar Horizon is the same line and price with the opposite intent.
