Tecnifibre Bomba Speed 2026 Padel Racket

The Tecnifibre Bomba Speed is the quicker of Tecnifibre's two power diamonds: the same Bomba family as the Bomba Max, built in 3K carbon at 360g for advanced players who want attacking geometry they can move fast. Its core is a single-piece soft foam that Tecnifibre say absorbs vibration and spreads energy evenly across the sweet spot, under a sandblasted Rough Skin 3D face that grips the ball.

How it plays. Padelguru, which summarises published reviews rather than playing the racket, rates it 8.6/10: manoeuvrability 8.8, offence 8.7, power 8.4 and control 8.3. It singles out an unusually large sweet spot for a diamond, quick overheads and a feel that is comfortable without going dead, and notes it gives up some top-end power to the Bomba Max. Padelful is cooler at 7.9/10 (September 2026): power 8.5, rebound 8.2, control and manoeuvrability 7.7, sweet spot 7.5. Its reviewer liked the smash acceleration and the bite on sliced bandejas and víboras, but found the high sweet spot punishes off-centre contact, play off the wall demanding, and blocks needing an extra push.

Why "Speed". Tecnifibre print the same 265mm balance for the Speed and the Max, so the speed comes from the lighter build and the X-SPEED channels, ventilation tunnels through the frame with no plastic inserts, rather than from a lower balance point. Against Tecnifibre's own Curva Speed it is 5g heavier, with a sweet spot 7cm² wider. X-TOP fibres protect the head.

Where it sits. The Bomba Max is the heavier, 18K carbon version for maximum smash weight, and the Bomba Soft puts comfort first. Other diamonds worth comparing: the NOX AT10 Genius Attack 12K for more power and the Babolat Technical Veron 3.0 for an easier strike.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced attacker who wants diamond power without the heaviest swing, and you play often enough to keep your contact clean.
• No if you mostly defend from the back, if you want maximum weight behind the smash (the Bomba Max), or if comfort comes first (the Bomba Soft or the teardrop Curva Speed).
