Racquet Club is the third permanent site for a group that already runs Sydney's Moore Park club and Canberra's Fyshwick centre, and by court count Robina is the biggest of the three. What makes it unusual is where it sits: 6,842 square metres of courts on the edge of Robina Town Centre, so you can play at six in the morning, shower, and be at the shops or the office by eight. For anyone in Robina, Varsity Lakes, Mudgeeraba, Merrimac or Burleigh Waters, this is now the closest padel by a distance.

One correction worth making because it is repeated elsewhere: the courts are open-air, not indoor. An early preview called them indoor; the operator and its booking page do not. If you need a roof, the Gold Coast's indoor courts are at Currumbin Waters now and Arundel from November.

Coaching across every level, social competitions and community events, and racquet rental with balls included in court hire — so it is a good first venue if you have never held a padel racket. Getting gear near Robina
Racquet Club has its own pro shop, and if the brand you want is on its wall, buy it there — you get to hit with it first, and no website beats that. We range the five brands most club shops do not (Babolat, NOX, Siux, Tecnifibre, Dunlop), and we are ten minutes up Robina Parkway and the Gold Coast Highway at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach. Free click and collect from the Priceline Pharmacy counter, ready within three hours on weekday orders placed between 9am and 5pm where the stock is on hand, and returns across the same counter. No showroom, no demo rackets.
