If you have played padel on the Gold Coast, you have almost certainly played here. Padel Gold Coast calls itself Australia's longest-running padel facility and Queensland's first dedicated club, and it has the membership to show for it — more than 260 members as of August 2026, dog-friendly sidelines, a ping-pong table and the sort of Tuesday-morning regulars a club only gets after years. It is also our founder's home club, so this page is written by someone who plays here.

Coaching
This is the club's real strength. Head coach and manager Toni Pi is also the Australian national coach; Manu Carrasco is the senior coach with seven-plus years on court; Néstor Carbillo Hierro completes the bench. Director Ross Taylor founded the club and has captained Australia twice.
Programmes run from Intro to Padel through Skills & Drills at four levels, club nights, a Ladies Social Morning on Tuesdays from 9 to 10:30am, junior school-holiday camps, and a players' pack for interstate and international visitors who want a game while they are on the coast. Events at Carrara
Padel at the Pan Pacific Masters Games is played here, 13–15 November 2026 — the first time the Games have included padel. Men's, women's and mixed doubles in 35+, 45+ and 55+ brackets (age as at 31 December 2026), Friday and Sunday 8am–3pm, Saturday 8am–5pm. Entries close 16 October 2026. Open entry, no ranking required; Ross Taylor is the Games' padel contact, which tells you how central this club is to the sport here.
The club's own calendar also lists an Australian Padel Tour National 1000 in late September and a Hope Water Masters final in mid-December. The club prints those dates without a year, so confirm with them directly before planning around either.

Getting gear near Carrara
We are ten minutes away. Priceline Pharmacy at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Broadbeach, is our free click-and-collect counter: order between 9am and 5pm on a weekday and it is ready within three hours where the stock is on hand, and you can collect seven days during centre hours. Returns are across the same counter. There is no showroom and no demo rackets — the club's pro shop and a social session are where you hit with something first.
