Great range and prices. Struggled to find somewhere that was a one stop shop. Glad I stumbled across this store and having a local click and collect is a great bonus.

Who this racket suits
The Hirostar Redstone IV is the control diamond of Hirostar's Pro Collection and the fourth generation of the Redstone. Hirostar call it the most precise racket in the Pro line: a mid-low balance keeps the weight in your hand rather than the head, so the racket stays quick through fast exchanges and easy to place. 18K carbon face, a new Multi-EVA core and 360–375g, in a white finish with red graphics.
What changed from the previous Redstone. Four things, according to Hirostar and their Australian distributor. A new Multi-EVA core (layers of rubber at different densities) replaces the single Black EVA 17: softer on touch shots, livelier when you accelerate. The sweet spot is larger and more consistent, so the IV is more forgiving than last year's model. The whole hitting face is now sandy for spin, where the old model's logo was a gloss finish. And an NFC chip in the frame lets a phone confirm the racket is genuine and activate the warranty. The bridge keeps its precision openings to move air through the heart of the racket.
How it plays. Hirostar pitch it as precise and manageable, with the Multi-EVA and the bridge openings cutting vibration so the arm takes less punishment over a long match. It gives up some of the Blackstone IV's weight on the smash in exchange for faster handling and easier defence. We have not court-tested the IV and no independent review has been published yet, so this description comes from the manufacturer's catalogue and the distributor's notes.
Model year. This is the 2027 Redstone IV (Hirostar code R27004), the successor to the 2025-mould Redstone.
Is this the racket for you?
- Yes if you are an advanced player who wins points with placement, volleys and patience and wants a diamond that does not feel head-heavy. It has the same build as the Blackstone IV with a lower balance; if you want more punch overhead, the Blackstone IV is the pick.
- No if you are newer to padel and want a big sweet spot and a soft feel. The round Solar or the Horizon will be easier to live with.
