Redstone Padel Racket

The Hirostar Redstone is the unusual one in Hirostar's Pro line: a diamond head with a medium-low balance. Most diamonds push the weight up; the Redstone keeps it nearer the hand, so you get the attacking geometry and the high sweet spot without the slow, head-heavy feel. 18K carbon face, Black EVA 17 core, 38mm profile, and Hirostar's integrated anti-vibration bridge.

How it actually plays. Padelspeed's spotlight test called it "attack plus manoeuvrability": quicker through the air and easier to control in hand than a conventional power racket, with a textured surface that helps spin and a bridge that noticeably takes the sting out of off-centre hits. The trade-offs they found are the ones you would expect from the shape — the sweet spot sits high and is concentrated, so it is smaller than a round frame's, and a player who wants either maximum power or maximum forgiveness may find it sits in between. Against the Siux Fenix Pro they positioned it as the choice for controlled aggression rather than raw finishing.

Model year. This is Hirostar's current Redstone (their "25" mould, still the 2026 catalogue frame). Some retailers list the shape as teardrop; Hirostar's own spec sheet says diamond, and that is what we have listed.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced club player or strong intermediate who volleys a lot, plays fast hands at the net, and wants attacking shape without a sluggish head.
