The Babolat Technical Viper Soft 3.0 2026 is the Technical Viper with the hardness taken out of it — the same diamond shape and the same power geometry, on a soft black EVA core.
A soft core compresses more on contact. You get a longer dwell time, more feel on slower balls, and noticeably less shock through the arm. The trade is a little top-end power against the hard-core version, which most players will never miss.
The face is a softer 3K carbon with the 3D Spin+ raised finish, so grip on the ball is unchanged. Vibrabsorb System² runs SMAC elastomers through the carbon, the core and the handle.
