Dunlop FX Team 2026 Padel Racket

The Dunlop FX Team is the mid-range diamond in Dunlop's FX series: 365g with an even balance, the same Pro EVA core as the FX Pro, a carbon face and frame (Dunlop list the main material as graphite) and a SpinBoost raised texture for grip. It keeps the FX Pro's Force Bridge reinforcement and Power Holes drilling but leaves out the Sonic Core and VibroShield comfort systems. Dunlop pitch it at intermediate players who want a mix of power, control and precision.

How it plays. Padelful rates it 7.9/10 (September 2026): power 9.5, control 8, rebound 8, manoeuvrability 7.5 and sweet spot 6.5. Its reviewer liked how quickly it handles in volley exchanges, the firm, stable attacking volley, and penetrating bandejas and víboras. The drawbacks were a small sweet spot that punishes mishits, limited ball exit in defence, and blocks that lack depth. In short, it rewards an attacking intermediate and asks a lot of a defender.

Against the FX Pro. You give up 5g, the 12K carbon face and the two vibration systems, and you gain an even balance that keeps the swing quicker at the net. If you mainly attack and like a lighter head, that is a fair trade. If you want damping, the FX Pro has it.

Where it sits. Above it is the FX Pro, below it the beginner FX Start. Intermediate diamonds from other brands with more forgiving sweet spots: the Babolat Technical Veron 3.0, the adidas Metalbone Team and the Hirostar Horizon.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an intermediate player moving to the left side, you like to finish at the net, and you want a diamond that is quicker to swing than the FX Pro.
• No if your game is defence and resets. The small sweet spot and modest ball exit work against you, and a round racket such as the adidas RX Series suits that game better.
