Dunlop FX PRO 2026 Padel Racket

The Dunlop FX Pro is the top of Dunlop's FX padel range: a 370g diamond with a high balance and a 12K Special Weave carbon face, built for advanced players who want power at the net. It carries both of the series' comfort systems: Sonic Core inserts made with BASF's Infinergy at three and nine o'clock, for rebound and vibration absorption, and a VibroShield rubber layer in the frame. Force Bridge reinforcement across the throat adds stability, and SpinBoost is a raised texture on the face for grip.

How it plays. Padelful rates it 7.8/10 (September 2026): power 9, control 8, rebound 8, manoeuvrability 7 and sweet spot 7. Its reviewer liked the heavy, penetrating volleys, efficient power on committed smashes and a direct response with useful spin. The costs were a head-heavy feel that slows quick exchanges, less comfort on off-centre defensive shots, and soft-touch volleys that are demanding. Padelguru, which summarises published video reviews rather than playing the racket, scores it 7.3 and says much the same: a big smash, but hard to move in fast exchanges and tiring over a long match.

The feel. Dunlop use the same Pro EVA core across the FX Pro, FX Team and FX Start. On this racket it sits behind a 12K carbon face with a high balance, and reviewers describe the result as firm. Power Holes are Dunlop's drilling pattern; Dunlop say they help precision and shot control.

Where it sits. The FX Team is 5g lighter with an even balance and no Sonic Core or VibroShield, and the FX Start is the beginner model. For the same attacking job from other brands, compare the Tecnifibre Bomba Max and the NOX AT10 Genius Attack 12K.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced player who finishes at the net and wants a heavy, stable diamond with some vibration damping built in.
• No if you rely on quick hands in volley exchanges or defend from the back most of the time, or if the weight already tires you by the third set. The FX Team is lighter and easier to swing.
