The adidas Cross It Light 2026 is Martita Ortega's racket — the light, round, even-balanced frame in adidas's Cross It line, built for players who win points with placement and reaction speed rather than raw overhead power. At 345–360g it is one of the lightest advanced-level rackets we sell, and the open Dynamic Air Flow heart is there for exactly one reason: to make it move faster through the air at the net.

What adidas put in it. A Carbon Aluminized 24K face — adidas's second-stiffest fibre, chosen here for durability and a crisp response rather than extra flex — over an EVA Soft Energy core, the medium-density rubber that sits between the soft comfort core and the hard High Memory one. That pairing is the point of this racket: a face that stays precise on fast exchanges with a core that still gives you ball speed on slow, deep shots from the back. The Spin Blade texture is moulded into the face (not a decal), the centre holes are the smaller 11mm 11 Thirteen pattern for rigidity and durability, and the handle is adidas's longer Extra Power Grip.

Who it suits. adidas rate it “pro level, intensive use”, and the shape and weight say control player: right-siders who volley a lot, players coming down from a heavy diamond who want their reactions back, and strong women's and juniors-to-adult players who find 365g frames slow. It is not a smash machine — the sweet spot is central and the balance is even — but it is very hard to get out of position with.
