Blackstone Padel Racket

The Hirostar Blackstone is the attacking half of Hirostar's Pro pair: the same 18K carbon face, Black EVA 17 core and anti-vibration bridge as the Redstone, but with a medium-high balance that puts the mass where a diamond normally carries it. Total-black finish with metallic accents, 38mm, and a sandblasted surface for spin.

How it actually plays. Hirostar describe the target player as one who "dominates with technique, rhythm and accuracy" rather than brute force, and Padelspeed's listing agrees: a crisp, firm 18K response, moderate comfort from the EVA 17, and a compact-to-medium sweet spot that rewards clean contact and does not hide a mishit. The diamond shape and higher balance give it more leverage on the smash than the Redstone; the price is that it takes a little more driving through fast exchanges. We have not found an independent scored test for the Blackstone; the description above is drawn from the manufacturer and the two retailers named.

Is this the racket for you?

• Yes if you are an advanced or strong-intermediate attacker with solid mechanics who builds pressure with volleys and bandejas and wants a diamond that is firm but not brutal. It sits between the Alien Pro (harder, 24K) and the Redstone (same build, lower balance). Elsewhere on our wall the NOX AT10 Genius Attack is the closest comparison.
• No if you are still developing technique or want a big, forgiving sweet spot — look at the Horizon (softer diamond, less money) or a round frame.
