The Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 2026 is the top of Babolat's power line: a diamond head that pushes the sweet spot high, behind the ball, where a finisher wants it.
A diamond puts the most mass furthest from your hand. That is what makes it hit so hard, and it is also why the margin for error is the smallest of any shape. Off-centre contact is punished. This frame is for a player whose technique is already repeatable.
The core is a hard EVA with a carbon sheet laid inside it, so energy comes back fast rather than being absorbed. The face is 3K carbon with the 3D Spin+ raised finish for bite on the ball. Vibrabsorb System² puts SMAC elastomers through the carbon, the core and the handle to take the sting out without softening the response.
Stated weight is 360–375g with a high balance. Manufacturer weights vary by around ten grams either way on every brand, which is worth knowing before you chase a number.
Key technologies: Vibrabsorb System² · Carbon Power Layer · Dynamic Stability System · 3D Spin+
This is the frame in the Viper family Juan Lebrón's line is built around. If you like the shape but not the punishment, the Viper Soft 3.0 is the same idea with a softer core.
