Carbon Padel Grip — Small (1.5mm)

Hesacore replaces the round grip your racket came with. In its place is a patented hexagonal shape engineered to match the anatomy of your hand — it guides your fingers into the same position every time you pick the racket up, and spreads the contact area across the handle (Hesacore measure 8–14% more grip surface than a conventional round grip).

The point is that you stop squeezing. A relaxed hand means a relaxed forearm: less fatigue over a long match, and less shock travelling up into the wrist and elbow. It also holds when your hands are wet, which on a humid Gold Coast evening is not a small thing.

Carbon is the firm one. Carbon filaments through the grip make the handle noticeably stiffer than the Original, so contact transmits straight to your hand — you feel more of the ball, and you absorb more of it too. Small (1.5mm) suits players who currently run two overgrips.

A note on the box

Your grip may arrive in Hesacore's pickleball-branded packaging. It is the same grip. Padel and pickleball handles are identical, and Hesacore have confirmed this stock is intended for padel rackets as well — fit it to your padel racket exactly as you would any other Hesacore grip.

Choosing your size

Hesacore sizes are the thickness of the grip material, not the height of the handle. Match what you already play with and the racket will feel familiar:

• Stock grip + 1 overgrip → Extra Small (1.0mm)
• Stock grip + 2 overgrips → Small (1.5mm)
• Stock grip + 3 overgrips → Medium (2.0mm)

You are not sizing up. You are recreating the thickness you already use, with a better shape underneath it.

Which model?

Every Hesacore shares the same hexagonal shape — only the feel changes.

• Starting out → Original or Pink — balanced, the safe first choice
• Elbow pain or vibration → Gel — the softest, most shock-absorbing
• Want a firmer handle → Carbon — stiff and direct

Fitting it

It goes on the bare handle in place of your base grip, sliding on with the plastic strips supplied inside — no glue, a couple of minutes. From there you build up to taste:

1. The Hesacore — the foundation
2. Your usual overgrip (optional) — adjusts thickness and feel
3. Dry grip spray (optional) — for sweaty conditions

Most players run the Hesacore on its own, or with one overgrip over the top.

The two questions everyone asks

Will it make my grip bigger? No — you match your current setup. Fit the size that matches your overgrip count and the racket feels the same thickness, just better shaped.

Will it feel strange? For about ten minutes. Then it feels natural. Every player says the same thing, so give it one full session before you judge it.
