A wet hand is the fastest way to lose a racket mid-swing, which is why sweatbands are standard kit rather than decoration. These sit on the forearm and intercept sweat before it reaches your grip — NOX call the technology Balance Fresh, and the claim is simply that moisture stops at the band instead of running down to your hands.

The long version covers noticeably more forearm than a standard wristband, which is the whole point — more fabric, more absorption, and longer before it saturates. Players coming back from an elbow or forearm niggle also wear them to keep the area warm. NOX make the long band in two colourways only: this one, and white with a black logo.

Cotton blended with nylon and polyester. NOX doesn't publish the blend percentages or a length in centimetres, so we don't list either — inventing numbers to fill a spec table helps nobody.

Buy two pairs. One of them is always in the wash.
