Thin, dry and deliberately minimal — the overgrip for players who don't want anything between their hand and the handle.

Dry, not tacky. That's the whole point. Babolat build this one thin so you can still feel the bevels and contours of the handle underneath, which is what competitors ask for when they want to know exactly where the face is without looking. A thick cushioned grip smooths all of that away.

Who should not buy it. If your hands sweat heavily, a thin dry grip is the wrong tool and you'll be re-gripping constantly. Go to the Pro Tour 2.0 instead — tacky, cushioned and absorbent, and the better grip for a Queensland summer. We'd rather you bought the right one once.

When to re-grip. Four to eight sessions is typical, and a thin grip generally reaches that point sooner than a cushioned one because there's less material to wear through. If the handle has started turning in your hand, it's done.

Fits anything. Overgrips wrap over the existing base grip rather than replacing it, so this suits any padel, tennis or pickleball racket. If your base grip has worn through to the pallet you need a replacement grip, not an overgrip.
